About Tereno

Built for the long game.

Tereno is the modern content and customer platform for wineries — built by people who believe great software takes time to get right.

Origin

Why we built Tereno.

Most winery software was designed by companies in a hurry — optimizing for market size, investor milestones, and rapid expansion into every adjacent vertical. The result is a category full of tools that sort of work for wineries, adapted from generic ecommerce or CRM platforms with winery-specific fields bolted on.

Tereno started from a different question: what would a platform look like if it was designed entirely around how a winery actually operates? Around the reality of allocations and releases, of running multiple labels under one roof, of a tasting room that is both a retail store and a relationship-building channel.

The answer is a platform that speaks wine from the ground up. Not a website builder that added a SKU field for vintage. Not an ecommerce platform that renamed "categories" to "varietals." Something built from scratch, around the data model a modern winery actually needs.

Tereno is built by an operator and a winery, in a genuine partnership. We ship features when they are ready — not when a board meeting forces the calendar. That deliberateness is a feature, not a limitation.

How we work

I.

Built deliberately.

We ship when something is ready, not when a milestone demands it. Tereno moves on its own timeline — which means when a feature ships, it works.

II.

Wine-first.

Every feature is shaped by how wineries actually work. Allocations, vintages, clubs, and tasting rooms are first-class concepts in Tereno — not workarounds on top of a generic data model.

III.

Partnership, not software.

Implementation is included with every new customer. When you start with Tereno you get a team — not a ticket queue and a help center.

IV.

Honest about scope.

We don't promise what we haven't built. The roadmap is driven by what customers actually ask for — not by what makes a good slide in a fundraising deck.

If this sounds like how you'd want to work — let's talk.
